Sometimes in life, we get second chances and sweet reunions. Joyce Wold, from Grass Valley, California got a black kitten with a tiny white spot on his back. Unfortunately, the next year, Joyce moved cities and her new apartment refused any type of pet in the apartment complex. Sadly, Joyce had to give the kitty up.
“I always wondered about my cat, and thought of him constantly through the years. I didn’t want to give him up, that cat and I had a special bond,” Joyce said. Through the years, the cat lover and her daughter volunteered at the animal shelter, cuddling all the kitties, always thinking about her kitten.
One day, at the animal shelter…”In one cage was this big black cat, so I opened the door and there he was at the shelter after 6 years. I knew it was my cat I gave up for adoption, he also recognized me too, so he started to give me hugs with his head, love bites and raising his paw up to my head pushing me away when I was giving him love on the top of his head. I looked more closely and saw that little white spot he had on his back, and I couldn’t hold back my tears,” Joyce exclaimed. Of course, the fluffy ball came home that day with Joyce and her daughter.
“After all these years he came back to me….My miracle baby,” she smiles at the kitty cat. Joyce got a wonderful reunion with her kitty and got a sweet second chance at togetherness. It just goes to show that something or someone intervened and led the two lives back together, because they were meant to be. This is how much God loves us and wants to reunite with us. He loves us with a deep compassion and never wants to let us go.
